You must be at least 18 years old to use Nudge. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
Nudge is a dating app focused on accountability and real-world meetings. The app guides you through a structured process: matching, a short vibe-check conversation, scheduling a date at a real venue, and post-date feedback. The goal is to get you off the app and into real life.
Nudge is not a messaging platform, a social network, or a hookup app. The features are designed around meeting in person, and the rules exist to make that process better for everyone.
You agree not to:
We take these seriously. Violations can result in immediate account termination.
You own the content you create on Nudge (photos, bio text, messages). By using the app, you grant Nudge a limited license to display your content to other users as part of the service. This license exists solely to operate the app — for example, showing your profile to potential matches or delivering your messages to your conversations.
You are responsible for the content you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, and don't post anything that violates these terms or the law.
We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.
Nudge uses a post-date feedback system. Here's how it works:
By using Nudge, you accept this system. If transparent, mutual accountability isn't for you, Nudge may not be the right fit.
We may adjust these limits, modify features, or introduce new ones as the app evolves. We'll notify you of material changes.
Nudge relies on a few third-party services to function:
We assess the security practices of every third-party provider before integration and select only providers that meet our standards for security, privacy, and data protection. We practice data minimization: only the minimum data necessary for each provider to perform its function is shared. These services are used purely to support app functionality.
We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. We do not share your data for advertising purposes or any purpose unrelated to providing the Nudge service.
We are not responsible for the availability or practices of third-party services. Their use is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
By you: You can delete your account at any time through the app. When you do:
By us: We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a safety risk to other users, or are used fraudulently. We'll try to explain why when possible, but reserve the right to act immediately when user safety is at stake.
Nudge is provided "as is." We do our best, but we can't guarantee:
We are not responsible for the actions, behavior, or conduct of other users, whether online or offline. Use your own judgment when meeting people, and take the same precautions you would with any dating service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nudge and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to Nudge is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Since Nudge is currently free, that amount is $0.
We're a small team building something we believe in. This limitation exists so we can keep doing that.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
We don't require mandatory arbitration. If there's a problem, we'd rather talk it out. Reach out to us first.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes:
Your continued use of Nudge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with changes, you may delete your account.
